Dr. Peter Bachmayer, LL.M. (Harvard)

Currently a Head of Department at the European Patent Office. Previously a Policy Officer at the European Commission, working for the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF). Before that a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Vienna focussing on the privileges and immunities of international organizations as well as on intellectual property law.

Master's degree from Harvard Law School. PhD in Law from the University of Vienna, analyzing the legality of quoting motion picture sequences under Austrian copyright law, published as a book in 2014.

Grew up in Austria, lived in Vienna, Oslo and Brussels. Currently in Munich.
